Sales Engineer

Do you have a background in accounting or audit and enjoy working closely with customers to solve their most pressing challenges?

We are looking for a Sales Engineer to join our growing sales team, bringing professional expertise in accounting, audit, or compliance to support the sales process from a subject-matter perspective.

In this role, you will partner with our Account Executives to identify customer pain points, understand their business and financial processes, and translate those into tailored solutions powered by our platform. Your knowledge and experience will help position our value proposition effectively, ensure customers’ needs are well understood, and guide them through their decision-making journey.

This role allows you to combine your accounting and audit expertise with sales engagement, helping the team uncover customer needs, shape tailored solutions, and contribute directly to revenue growth.

About The Role

  • Collaborate with sales executives to understand customer needs and map them to our solutions
  • Act as a subject matter expert in accounting, audit, and compliance during customer engagements
  • Participate in discovery sessions, requirements gathering, and solution scoping
  • Support the creation and delivery of presentations and demos with a professional and business-oriented focus
  • Engage with senior executives, particularly within the Office of the CFO, to support sales processes around strategic priorities and challenges
  • Help customers articulate their challenges and identify how our platform can address them
  • Provide feedback from the field to internal teams to influence product development
  • Stay up to date on industry trends, regulatory changes, and customer priorities

Your Experience & Skills

  • 6+ years of experience in audit, accounting, or compliance (Big 4 or similar firm strongly preferred)
  • Proven experience working directly with customers, including needs assessment and solution recommendations
  • Familiarity with data-driven solutions and interest in technology as an enabler of business transformation
  • Knowledge of SAP systems – strong advantage
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage senior stakeholders
  • Strong analytical mindset and ability to connect business challenges with potential solutions
  • Relevant academic degree (e.g., Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration)
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment
  • Willingness to travel if needed
