We are seeking an experienced and ambitious Sales Engineer with a strong track record and a genuine passion for selling technology solutions to senior executives, to join our dynamic team and drive sales growth through technical expertise and customer service.
You will collaborate with our sales team to identify and develop new business opportunities
Key Responsibilities:
- Support sales executives with solution selling into prospect account base
- Partner with sales executives to plan, prepare and execute on strategic deals in complex sales cycles
- Provide technical support throughout the sales cycle, including product demonstrations, presentations and proposal development
- Successfully match customer pain/requirements to proposed solutions
- Create and deliver powerful presentations and demos that clearly communicate the uniqueness of the value proposition
- Manage all technical aspects of RFP / RFI responses
- Effectively communicate client needs to the R&D teams for future product enhancements
- Effectively communicate technical solutions to clients, including technical specifications, capabilities and limitations
- Respond promptly and professionally to technical questions and concerns from clients and prospects
- Provide valuable feedback to the product development team on customer needs and preferences
- Stay up to date with industry trends, technologies and competitors
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field
- Minimum 4 years of experience in technical sales / engineering roles
- Experience in B2B Tech companies, focused on data products
- High proficiency in SQL.
- Knowledge and experience in audit or compliance – a plus.
- Knowledge in ERP Systems (SAP; Oracle; NetSuite) – a plus
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and colleagues
- Self-motivated and driven to achieve sales targets
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to travel as needed
